Sorry I dropped the ball last week and left you all hanging.
The last seven days have been focused on getting Gravity to a point that I can pack up and travel the world for two weeks.
Oh ya, Ill be in Ireland and London for the next 12 days or so.
The wife and I are taking a nice vacation with a couple friends and I will be leaving the country for the third time ever in my 27 years.
In preparation for the trip I made sure to do two things that will hopefully interest at least some of you.
First, I made new adjustments to the game and actually ended up rewriting about a fourth of the cards, just small things nothing game changing. I also made sure to get all of the changes to my manufacturer and new copies will hopefully be awaiting my return in mid June.
These are all earmarked for game reviewers and a couple that Im trying to push at a store to do a small tournament, for more honest criticism.
I know that was two things, but they count as one in this situation.
The second big step I took was getting into a couple writing classes. The most interesting so far being James Patterson’s Masterclass. Don’t know if any of you guys have taken a masterclass, but they are worth looking into, if you find one covering a topic you like.
I truly enjoy writing, and while practice makes perfect, I think it will help me to learn a few tricks from great writers. Sadly, grammar is not a chapter in any of curriculums so far, but I will get there.
Since I won’t have internet or even a decent computer for almost the entire trip, I have no way of working on the game over the next couple weeks. I’m going to take some of that time to write, and look for inspiration from the places we visit. I mean I’ve never been to a castle before, maybe it will help me to see one in real life.
This also means there won't be a blog post next week, but I will end up writing one or two on the 16 hours of flying I have to endure. If I finish them between naps, Ill be able to post one the following Thursday and get something extra on the site for you guys that weekend.
As always, it’s great to hear from you guys! If any of you live or have been to Ireland and London let me know some fun things to do while Im there.
Talk to you guys later and don't forget to check social media for the first Scorched Kingdoms sighting in another country!
